Acceptable use policy

1The spirit of this policy

ToolsMotive is built for everyday work: documents, images, writing and data. Use it for what you are allowed to do, and don't use it to harm people, break the law or break the service.

2Illegal and harmful content

Do not use the service to create, process, store or share:

• sexual content involving minors, in any form; we report it to the authorities;
• content that threatens, harasses, bullies or promotes violence or hatred against people;
• personal data of others that you have no right to process, or content that invades someone's privacy;
• malware, phishing pages or anything designed to deceive people or damage devices;
• content that breaks export, sanctions or other laws that apply to you.

3Other people's rights

• Only process files you own or are allowed to use.
• Don't remove passwords, protection or watermarks from files you are not entitled to open or change.
• Don't use the service to infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property.

4Using AI responsibly

• Don't use AI output to impersonate real people or organizations, or to create fake documents, reviews or records presented as genuine.
• Don't try to make the AI produce instructions for serious harm, or to get around its safety rules.
• Review AI output before you publish or rely on it, and be honest about it where that matters.

5Protecting the service

• No attempts to probe, scan, overload or break into the service or other users' accounts (security research: see our trust page).
• No scraping, automated sign-ups, or using scripts or bots without our written permission.
• No creating extra accounts, sharing accounts or other tricks to get around plan limits.
• No reselling access to the service without an agreement with us.

6What happens if the rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend or close the account, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where reasonable we explain why and give you a chance to respond.
