How these tools work

Before you use audio tools

  • On your device

3 of the 18 tools here run in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to be processed. They work for guests and on every plan.

  • On our servers

9 tools need our servers (for example heavy conversions). Files travel over an encrypted connection, are used only for your task and are removed from processing storage when it ends. Free accounts get 15 server tasks a day (heavy conversions such as PDF to Word, and more).

  • With AI

6 tools use an AI model. The cost in credits is shown before anything runs; free accounts get 20 AI credits a day.

  • Never used to train AI

Your files, chats and results are never used to train or improve AI models.

Questions

Questions about audio tools

Which audio tools are ready to use?

None yet: all 18 tools here are planned and marked "Soon". Until they are ready, describe the job in the AI workspace; it may be able to help, and your request moves the tool up our build list.

Are audio tools free?

Tools that run in your browser are free and unlimited on every plan, with no account needed. Server and AI tools have daily limits on the Free plan; paid plans raise them and remove ads.

Are my files uploaded?

Not for tools that run in your browser: each tool page says where it runs. For server tools your files are used only for your task, over an encrypted connection, and removed from processing storage when it ends.

What if the tool I need isn't ready?

Describe the job in the AI workspace. ToolsMotive uses a built tool when one fits, can do many text jobs with AI (the credit cost is shown first), and records what people ask for so we build the most wanted tools first.

AI at work

Not listed? Just describe it.

The AI uses a built tool when one fits, can do many text jobs itself (credits shown first), and adds what it can't do yet to our build list.
