1Who is responsible
A Digital Motive (Pvt) Ltd is responsible ("controller") for your personal data when you use ToolsMotive.

2What we collect, why, and our legal basis

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.
3Your files and AI
Your files, chats and results are never used to train or improve AI models.
- Device tools process your files in your browser; they are not uploaded to us to be processed.
- Server and AI tools receive your files over an encrypted connection, use them only for your task and remove them from processing storage when it ends.
- Your Library is private: only you can download your files while signed in, and they delete themselves on the schedule your plan allows.
- When a task uses AI, only the content needed for that task is sent to the AI provider. We choose providers whose terms don't allow them to train on API data by default.
4Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers ("processors") that help us run the service, under contracts that limit what they may do with it, and when the law requires it.

5International transfers
Our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where data protection law requires it, transfers use recognised safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
6How we protect your data
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our site.
- Passwords stored only as secure hashes; email verification and optional one-time sign-in codes.
- Rate limits, a bot trap, timing checks and a block on throwaway emails on public forms; network addresses kept only as short one-way hashes.
- API keys for AI providers encrypted at rest.
- Library files kept in a private folder that is not reachable by web address, served only to their owner.
- Access to admin tools limited to authorised staff, with an audit log of important changes.
7How long we keep data

8Cookies and browser storage
We use only what the site needs to work and stay secure: sign-in cookies, a security device ID and small preferences. Our cookie policy lists each one.
On the Free plan, public pages show ads. Our advertising partner may use cookies to show and measure ads; where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first. Paid plans have no ads.
9Your rights
- See and get a copy of your personal data.
- Correct it, or delete it (you can delete your whole account yourself from your account page).
- Object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe in one click).
- Move your data to another service (portability).
- Complain to your data protection authority.
To use a right, write to our contact form. We reply within the time the law requires (for example one month under the GDPR).
10Children
Accounts are for people aged 16 and over. If you believe a younger child created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
11Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. For important changes we tell account holders by email before they apply.
