Writing and text tools

How these tools work

Before you use writing and text tools

  • On your device

12 of the 22 tools here run in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to be processed. They work for guests and on every plan.

  • With AI

10 tools here use an AI model. The cost in credits is shown before anything runs; free accounts get 20 AI credits a day.

  • Never used to train AI

Your files, chats and results are never used to train or improve AI models.

Questions

Questions about writing and text tools

Which writing and text tools are ready to use?

12 are ready now: Word counter, Readability checker, Text case converter, Remove extra spaces and line breaks, Find and replace text, Remove duplicate lines, Sort lines, Text compare (diff), Cyrillic and Greek to Latin transliterator, Markdown to HTML converter, Email and URL extractor, Lorem ipsum generator. 10 more are planned and marked "Soon" above.

Are writing and text tools free?

Tools that run in your browser are free and unlimited on every plan, with no account needed. Server and AI tools have daily limits on the Free plan; paid plans raise them and remove ads.

Are my files uploaded?

Not for tools that run in your browser: each tool page says where it runs. For server tools your files are used only for your task, over an encrypted connection, and removed from processing storage when it ends.

What if the tool I need isn't ready?

Describe the job in the AI workspace. ToolsMotive uses a built tool when one fits, can do many text jobs with AI (the credit cost is shown first), and records what people ask for so we build the most wanted tools first.
