What you can do with ToolsMotive

ToolsMotive brings everyday file and text tools into one place. You can work in two ways, and switch between them whenever you like.

1. Describe the job in the AI workspace

1. Open the AI workspace.
2. Type what you need in your own words, for example “Merge these invoices, oldest first”, and add your files.
3. The task card shows each step as it runs. When it says the result is checked, choose Download.

2. Open a tool directly

Every tool has its own page with the tool at the top and a short guide underneath. Find tools from the Tools menu, the search (Ctrl K or ⌘ K), or the tools directory. Tools marked “Soon” are on the way; until then, describe the job to the AI.

Where your files are processed

Each tool page says where it runs. Tools marked as running on your device process files in your browser, so they are not uploaded to be processed. See Where your files are processed.

Tip: You don’t need an account for device tools. A free account adds history, a private Library and higher limits for server and AI tasks.
